Guides & questions

How much does PPF cost in Colorado Springs?

Full-front and full-body PPF cover different amounts of your car. The film, panel shapes and paint preparation also affect the price. Get a quote.

Is full-body PPF more expensive than full-front PPF?

Yes, full-body PPF uses more film and takes more installation time. Full-front coverage focuses on the front of the car; the exact panels included should be listed in your quote. Ask whether the hood and fenders are covered in full or only partway, and where you will see edges or seams. Get a quote.

Which film am I paying for?

XPEL describes ULTIMATE PLUS as a clear-coated polyurethane film designed to help protect paint from stone chips and abrasion. Its clear coat uses elastomeric polymers that allow light scratches to heal over time. Those are product characteristics, not a guarantee against every chip or impact. Confirm the film family, finish and any written warranty terms in the quote. If satin or another appearance is being considered, view the finish on the vehicle's paint before approving it. PPF sits over the paint and clear coat. Some films have a topcoat that recovers from light surface marks when warmed; deep cuts and punctures do not heal. The layers are separated and enlarged here so you can see how they fit together. Open full-size image

Preparation and paint condition matter

PPF is installed over a surface that must be clean and suitable. Existing chips, scratches, repainted panels, contamination and older protection can change preparation. Film does not restore missing paint or erase damage underneath. Send photos or arrange an inspection so the shop can say what preparation is included and what condition limits the result.

What should my PPF quote include?

Your PPF quote should list the film and finish, each covered panel, paint preparation and price. It should also explain visible seams, edge treatment, timing and warranty terms. Send us your car’s year, make and model and the panels you want protected. Include photos of any chips, scratches or old film so we can account for that work. Get a quote.
