How much does window tint cost in Colorado Springs?

Window tint prices depend on your car, the film and which windows you want tinted. Here’s what to include when asking for a quote. Get a quote.

Why do window tint prices vary?

A tint quote depends on the vehicle and the glass being treated. A compact coupe with two front doors is a different job from an SUV with a large rear hatch, a panoramic roof or several rows of glass. The cleanest way to compare quotes is to ask each shop to name the included windows, film family, shade and preparation. A low number can mean less glass, a different film or no allowance for removing old material. Get a quote.

Film choice changes the job

Film is more than darkness. XPEL's PRIME specification sheet lists variant-specific visible light transmission, solar-energy, infrared and UV values. That means a darker appearance does not automatically tell you how a film will perform in heat, glare or UV rejection. Ask what the proposed film is designed to do and what the measured specification means on your vehicle. If comfort is the priority, compare the film's performance data and the glass coverage rather than shopping by shade alone.

Cross-section: sunlight reaches the glass; an adhesive layer holds ceramic tint film to the cabin side.

Preparation belongs in the quote

Existing tint, adhesive residue, contamination, difficult seals and unusual glass shapes can add labor. A careful shop needs to know whether old film is peeling, bubbling or already on the glass. Ask whether removal, cleaning and curing instructions are included. The final price should also make clear whether a windshield, sunroof, quarter glass or rear hatch is included, because those pieces can change access and installation time. Get a quote.
